Syesha market and her partner, Tyron DeenerShe has something to celebrate – her daughter Ast is back in her care.

“We have Ast with us. We’d like to say thank you, ”Deener said in a live Instagram video shared on Friday, August 20. “We still have a lot to do to get ‘Ra back. Thank you – you gave us the right support to find the best lawyers in the country. “

In the clip, Mercado can be seen next to Deener as they drove their young daughter home.

“As a father and husband and for someone who loves people. Thanks again. It means everything, ”he continued. “We’re all in the same boat. We respect the process. We respect the courts. But wrong is wrong. We have Ast back. Soon Ra will be home. I know that because we got the support of the people.”

The 34-year-old American Idol alum shared the video on her Instagram page titled “AST IS HOME !!!! #BringRaHome MAKES THE PEOPLE !!!!!! “

The news comes three days after Mercado shared a tearful video of the loss of custody of Ast (2 weeks) and son Amen’Ra (18 months).

“I’m a first-time mom and have been denied the ability to hold and feed my babies,” said Mercado on Tuesday, August 17th. “It’s not the first time I’ve seen Ra say mom. This is not the first time I’ve seen my babies. I didn’t see that and I can’t repeat that moment. I’ll never be able to go back and repeat that moment. “

While Amen’Ra was removed from her and Deener’s custody in March, the removal of her daughter shook her even more.

“I just miss so many precious moments – this is such a precious time. I feel my daughter. I can feel when she is hungry and know when she is crying. And there is nothing I can do. She’s not here with me, ”she said in the video. “I’m supposed to love my babies. This has been withheld from me and I don’t know how to express it. It hurts so bad.”

The singer previously spoke of her heartbreak and said she lost custody of Amen’Ra after being hospitalized in February. The family went to the hospital because Mercado’s breast milk dried up while pregnant with their second child and Ra needed nutrients that she could no longer produce.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, doctors called the police because they were concerned about the child’s welfare and said he was malnourished and underweight. He was then arrested by the youth welfare office.

The couple then created a GoFundMe page to help with expenses related to their litigation over their son’s return. Mercado claimed on the fundraising website that she was never informed that her son was being fostered after his first placement with the Child Protection Service. She also claimed that no one looked for a relative who could take Amen’Ra in before giving him to a foster family.

Earlier this month, just 10 days after Mercado gave birth to their baby, the family was brought onto the street for a surprise social check-up. Authorities at the time claimed they had to take the little girl because Mercado had given birth to a child during a custody battle with another child.

Mercado and Deener posted a video they recorded of the incident when police seized their daughter, which more than three million viewers saw.

“If that can happen to us, it can happen to you,” said Deener in the clip that brought even more attention to her custody cases. “We have no criminal background. We have no history with DCF. We didn’t do anything wrong. “
