Around her untimely death, Anne Heche had a net worth of $4 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. It would have been higher, however, had she not gone through an expensive divorce from her ex-husband, Coley Laffoon. During their split, he reportedly demanded $28,000 a month in spousal support, nearly $10,000 in mortgage money, and primary custody of their son, Atlas. “It is disappointing that Coley Laffoon has resorted to filing lies with the court because Anne would not cave in to his astronomical monetary demands,” a rep for Heche told People at the time. “For the past several years the child’s father has refused to get a job in order to contribute financially to the child’s care.”
The couple eventually settled their divorce, with Heche agreeing to pay $3,700 a month in child support and give Laffoon a lump sum of $515,000 as well as half of their community property. They split physical and legal custody of their son.
Before her tragic accident and passing, Heche had multiple projects in the works. As People notes, she was not only writing her second book but had also wrapped up filming Lifetime’s “Girl in Room 13” and the horror-thriller “Full Ride,” in addition to the television roles “All Rise” and The Weeknd’s HBO show “Idol.”
