Choose Provides Mom Momentary Custody of Youngster at Heart of ‘Save James’ Case, Grants Father Restricted Visitation

On Tuesday, a Texas court granted a mother provisional custody of her 7-year-old son who she believes is about to move on to a girl. Jeff Younger, the father, believes that his child, a biological boy, wants to remain a boy. The divorced couple are fighting for custody of the child.

According to The Christian Post, Judge Mary Brown ruled against James’ father, citing his “unwillingness or inability to obey the ordinance intended to serve the best interests of the children”.

The younger boy and his ex-wife Anne Georgulas have fought over custody of James in recent years. Georgulas, who is not the birth mother of James and James’ twin brother, Jude, is a pediatrician in Coppell, Texas. She allegedly believed that James, whom she calls “Luna”, was trying to identify himself as female.

However, the younger one claims that James doesn’t want to be a girl.

“When James is with me, he shows no signs of wanting to be a girl when he has a choice. Even in female society, James rejects a feminine gender expression,” Younger said in a statement to Save James. “Website.

On Tuesday, the Georgulas court granted several “exclusive rights of limited duration”, such as the right to determine the children’s main residence and the right to consent to various medical decisions. Georgulas was also given the right to determine the children’s education and other privileges.

Judge Brown, however, refrained from granting Georgulas the exclusive right to decide whether James can undergo experimental transgender procedures, including prescribing puberty blockers or hormonal suppression “without parental consent or a court order”.

In addition, the Texas court ordered that “Younger’s tenure periods be continuously monitored by Forensic Counseling Services … at Mr. Younger’s sole expense and expense.”

On Wednesday, the Facebook page “Save James” issued a statement condemning the court order, claiming that the judge had ruled “against the safety and protection of James and Jude.”

A “Save James” campaign has also been launched on the Christian crowdfunding site GiveSendGo. Currently, the site has raised $ 102,396 of its $ 200,000.

The site created by George Genovezos claims that James “has no gender dysphoria” and that the best outcome for him is to identify as a boy.

In May, The Christian Post reported, Texas Republican lawmakers reportedly derailed a bill that would ban sex reassignment procedures for children.
