Coronation Avenue spoilers – Kevin Webster in custody disaster

Coronation Street spoiler’s follow.

Kevin Webster is facing a child custody crisis over a car smash-up on Coronation Street.

Following Imran’s death in a car crash earlier this year, Kevin has been helping try to gain legal custody of baby Alfie for partner Abi Webster.

Wednesday’s double bill centered around Kevin struggling to keep a social worker on the family’s side, much to the disapproval of son Jack Webster.

The garage was essentially a hazard zone throughout the day when Stephen Reid complained that his car was broken after just being fixed by mechanic Aaron Sandford.

Kevin stepped in to try to make things right with Stephen, but was interrupted by separate mobile calls from Abi and Jack. A furious Stephen threatened to take his car to another garage, leading Kevin to finally snap.

A stressed-out Kevin grabbed a wrench and started smashing up Stephen’s car! Stephen threatened legal consequences as he went head-to-head with Kevin over the outburst.

Police were on the scene moments later as Tyrone rushed in to help Kevin. The police had no choice but to take Kevin in, but he promised he’d fix every scratch on Stephen’s car for free as well as personally apologise for his outburst.

The detective pointed out that even if Kevin did all of that, he could still face a criminal charge that puts Alfie’s child custody agreement at risk!

Over at the garage, Tyrone met privately with Stephen to formally offer to fix the car for free as long as he didn’t press charges, seeing as it could stop Abi from keeping custody of her son.

Kevin was ultimately released under caution. He arrived home to find an excited Abi, ready to move in with him the following day.

Will Kevin come clean over what he’s done?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
