DA: Bristol Duo In Custody After Taking pictures Group Together with 4-12 months-Outdated Woman

A Bristol duo are in custody for alleged involvement in a shootout in 2019 that circumvented a group of people including a 4-year-old child.

Sysco Schruby, 21, was about to shoot 28-year-old William Flemming when he fired multiple shots at Flemming’s 4-year-old child and three other people gathered around a SUV in the Bucks County District on November 22, 2019, law firm said.

Schruby reportedly met Flemming at the Rodeway Inn on Green Lane in Bristol and was involved in a conversation, the prosecutor’s office said.

The surveillance video showed Schruby exiting the silver Honda Accord and sitting in the passenger seat, which then drove past Flemming’s parked green GMC envoy, authorities said.

Flemming was standing there with his girlfriend, his 4-year-old child and three other people, the DA office announced. Flemming can be seen chasing after Schruby’s car and firing multiple shots in that direction, the prosecutor’s office said.

The footage also showed Schruby firing back, the prosecutor’s office said.

Schruby was arrested on March 12 and faces multiple charges of grievous bodily harm, ordinary bodily harm, reckless endangerment, and two firearms violations, brought by Supervisor Raymond F. McHugh.

He is expected to be charged the same day.

Flemming is accused of carrying a firearm without a license and reckless endangerment.

Flemming was charged on March 8 by magistrate Kevin P. Wagner and his bail was set at $ 150,000.

The case has been investigated by the Bristol Township Police Department and Bucks County Detectives and transferred to Assistant District Attorney Edward M. Louka for prosecution.
