Dennis Quaid and his ex-wife Kimberly Buffington have settled their maintenance dispute.

In new legal documents received by The Blast, the former couple have agreed to change fees and costs for 13-year-old twins Thomas and Zoe.

Under the new terms, movie star Kimberly will now pay $ 13,750 (£ 10,300) per month as the base child benefit payment. He pays more when his annual income exceeds $ 1.3 million (£ 970,000).

The 66-year-old Quaid has also agreed to pay his ex-USD 68,000 (£ 51,000) on December 12th and two payments of USD 69,000 (£ 51,700) in January and February to offset past payments owed.

Dennis had previously asked a judge to change the child support he was paying Kimberly because he claimed he had his twins half the time and was paying all their expenses.

The actor officially ended his 14-year marriage to Buffington in April 2018, despite the fact that they separated for the second time two years earlier. In June he married his fourth wife, Laura Savoie.
