El Paso wished intercourse offender taken into custody after nearly a yr

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A wanted sex offender was searched and detained after nearly a year, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

The El Paso County Sheriffs Office asked the community for assistance in finding Kenneth Ray Mitchell back in October 2020. He was taken into custody by the Ingleside Police Department on July 31, according to EPCSO.

We reported that Mitchell had escaped from the El Paso Multi-Use Facility in Horizon and was a registered sex offender on charges of sexually assaulting a child from Texas. The victim was a 15 year old girl.

He was wanted for parole violation and for failure to comply with the registration requirements of sex offenders.

According to EPCSO, Mitchell was booked at the San Patricio CO Jail.
