Ex-Mortgage CEO Says Trial Atty Distracted By Custody Battle

Law360, New York (Aug. 2, 2021, 5:57 p.m. EDT) – A Manhattan federal judge on Monday requested more information about former reverse mortgage loan CEO Michael Hild’s allegation that his trial attorney was allegedly “violent and abusive” distracted “Even Hild was brought to justice in a custody battle and convicted of fraud.

U.S. District Judge Ronnie Abrams announced in an order that she would have a planned September 10 conviction for Hild, the founder of Live Well Financial, who will meet a federal jury on June 30. The judge said she would argue orally on the matter. .
