A vehicle from the GOLDEN Wattle Mobile Service Center is on its way to Macleay, providing residents in five communities in the Middle North with easy access to government services such as Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support. “The residents of Willawarrin, South West Rocks, Taylor’s Arm, Scotts Head and Bowraville are due to be visited by Golden Wattle starting Friday, February 5th,” said Federal Member for Cowper Pat Conaghan. “Golden Wattle provides tailored support and information to people in rural and regional communities. These trucks are specifically designed to replicate a service center with the latest technology.” As she travels around the region, she will provide plenty of support for locals through personal services such as assistance with Centrelink claims, Medicare registrations and other online services. “Residents can still do Centrelink and Medicare business online. However, Golden Wattle employees can assist locals and ensure they are confident of doing business online. A vehicle from the GOLDEN Wattle Mobile Service Center is on its way to Macleay, providing residents in five communities in the Middle North with easy access to government services such as Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support.

“The residents of Willawarrin, South West Rocks, Taylor’s Arm, Scotts Head and Bowraville are due to be visited by Golden Wattle starting Friday, February 5th,” said Federal Member for Cowper Pat Conaghan.

“Golden Wattle provides tailored support and information to people in rural and regional communities. These trucks are specifically designed to replicate a service center with the latest technology.

“As it continues its journey through the region, it will provide a lot of support to the locals by providing personal services such as assistance with Centrelink claims, Medicare registrations and other online services.”

Residents can still do Centrelink and Medicare business online. However, Golden Wattle staff can assist the locals and ensure they are safe to do business online.

The Golden Wattle Truck will be in Willawarrin on Friday February 5th and South West Rocks on Tuesday and Wednesday February 9th and 10th.

It will also visit Taylor’s arm on Thursday February 11th; Scotts Head on Friday February 12th and Bowraville on Monday February 15th and Tuesday February 16th.

Three Golden Wattle trucks operated by Services Australia make up the Mobile Service Center fleet, which has provided nearly 160,000 customers with critical government services and has traveled over 900,000 kilometers to visit more than 5,200 communities.
