North Dakota Health and Human Services offices in Bismarck, Devils Lake, Dickinson, Fargo, Grafton, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Rolla and Valley City are closed today, Dec. 23, in response to hazardous weather and travel conditions. Affected offices include six of the agency’s regional human service centers and their satellite and outreach offices, and the agency’s vocational rehabilitation and child support offices. IMPORTANT: People experiencing a behavioral health crisis should call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline or 211 for immediate help. Both are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
IMPACTED OFFICES:
Bismarck area: West Central Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Bismarck will be closed.
Devil’s Lake region: Lake Region Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Devils Lake will be closed along with LRHSC’s Rolla outreach office.
Dickinson region: Badlands Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Dickinson will be closed.
Fargo region: Southeast Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Fargo will be closed.
Grand Forks region: Northeast Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Grand Forks will be closed along with NEHSC’s Grafton outreach office.
Jamestown region: South Central Human Service Center and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Jamestown will be closed along with SCHSC’s Valley City outreach office.
Clients with previously scheduled appointments are being contacted.

Closure decisions are made for the safety of clients and team members and align with closures of other community clinics and government organizations.
Child support customers can conduct normal business 24-hours a day on that division’s secure website at www.childsupportnd.com.
