After their split, Berry and Aubry experienced a public maintenance battle. She is now paying Aubry thousands of dollars a month in child support and is not happy about it.

Berry met Aubry, a model, at a Versace photo shoot in 2005. They started dating and welcomed a daughter, Nahla, in 2008.

Despite trying to put their previous troubles aside to raise Nahla, the exes haven’t been friendly for years. Berry accused Aubry of emotional abuse throughout their relationship.

After Berry and Aubry split in 2010, the Oscar winner moved on and began a relationship with Olivier Martinez. Martinez and Berry became engaged and Berry wanted to move to France with Nahla to live full time in France with Olivier. Aubry successfully blocked Berry’s request to do so, and a custody and livelihood battle ensued.
Berry was ordered to give Aubry $ 16,000 a month in child support. However, the two share custody, and both are allowed to spend the same amount of time with her.
By E! News, the court’s decision is believed to be due to the former couple’s individual salaries. At the time of the judgment, Berry had approximately $ 4.7 million in just nine months. Aubry’s income was significantly lower, making only $ 192,921 from October 2011 to October 2012.

In addition, Berry was forced to pay a total of $ 115,000 in retrospective assistance, which she and Aubry agreed to do. She also paid Aubry’s legal fees, which were approximately $ 300,000.
Aubrey was off the hook for Nahla’s education bills, and Berry paid 100 percent of her daughter’s private school fees – and 50 percent of all medical expenses that weren’t covered by Berry’s medical plan.

“I’ve been paying for it for a decade now,” she continued. “I think if a woman or a man has to pay support that goes way beyond what is reasonable needed to support the child, I think that is wrong … I understand that some parents (man or woman) may need help need, but I also feel that in these modern times both men and women have a responsibility to look after their children financially, to work hard, and to make every effort to do so. ”
Aubry did not respond publicly to Berry’s remarks.
