COLUMBIANA COUNTY COURT NEWS

LISBON — In Common Pleas Court, Carl B. Moore, 43, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony; improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony, and possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Sentencing is set for June 24 when he faces up to five and a half years in prison and $17,500 in fines. The charges were having a loaded firearm in a vehicle and methamphetamines on June 10, 2021.

William McMillan, 28, formerly of Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, was sentenced by Judge Megan Bickerton to 40 days in the county jail and ordered to pay $900 in restitution to Carol Crawford. McMillan had pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor theft charge for having a 1999 Ford F250 pickup belonging to Travis A. Swinehart between June 1 and July 31, 2020.

Glenn E. Collins III, 40, Longs Church Road, East Liverpool, stipulated to violating the terms of his community control, which was then terminated dishonorably. He was credited with seven days in jail sentenced to an additional 83 days in jail for possession of drugs.

Shane A. Burkhart, 33, West Main Street, Washingtonville, was found eligible for intervention in lieu of conviction and pleaded guilty to improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony, and driving under FRA suspension, a misdemeanor, for having a firearm accessible in the motor vehicle on July 12. He was placed on a three-year treatment plan.

Angela M. Weaver, 34, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to obstructing justice and aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, on April 1 and was sentenced on April 14 to three years of community control including serving up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center. The obstructing justice charge was for hiding another person between Oct. 7 and Oct. 15, 2020, while the drug-related charge was for having methamphetamines on July 22, 2020.

Danielle M. Billman, 47, county jail, stipulated to violating the terms of her community control and was sentenced to 63 days in jail with credit for 33 already served from a prior possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony charge, from 2018. 18CR364

William J. McFarland, 30, Spruce Street, Columbiana, stipulated to violating the terms of his community control for a possession of drugs conviction from 2018. McFarland will continue on community control, but spend up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center.

Molly K. Jackson, 27, Glenn Street, East Liverpool, was placed on five years community control for illegal use of supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits, a third-degree felony. Jackson was ordered to repay $12,163 in monthly payments of not less than $202.

Tobias M. Menough stipulated to violating the terms of his community control for an aggravated possession of drugs charge, a fifth-degree felony, from 2019. Menough will remain on community control and spend up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY GRAND JURY

LISBON — Mitzi S. Stoddard, 32, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, was served a secret indictment charging her with aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony. Stoddard is accused of having less than the bulk amount of methamphetamines for sale in the vicinity of a child on July 21. The indictment was issued by the grand jury when it met in April.
