KENNEWICK, Wash. — Five days after he allegedly raped a woman who he met online, a 26-year-old man was arrested at his Tri-Cities residence where police recovered incriminating evidence of the vile assault.
According to the Kennewick Police Department, a female victim met with a man who she first encountered online in a parking lot on the 7100 block of W Clearwater Ave at 10:41 am on May 28, 2022. He has since been identified as Brandon Lamon Jones, per KPD officials.

The victim told Kennewick police officers that she was raped at gunpoint in that parking lot. Upon this shocking revelation, KPD detectives took over the investigation and began to search for more evidence of the crime.
On June 2 around 9:15 am, Jones was located at his residence on the 6400 block of W 4th Pl in Kennewick. Along with a US Marshal, officers brought him into custody without any further incident.

A search warrant was then served on the home, where Kennewick police recovered evidence that further linked Jones to the accused rape.
He has been booked into the Benton County Jail on an investigative hold for rape to the first degree.
