CALEXICO – The Camarena Memorial Library will reopen its doors to the public on Monday, August 2nd, on a limited schedule.

Visitors can choose their books, use the copier, use the public computers and print. We will limit the number of people in the building and the number of people who can use the computers at the same time. The safety of personnel and users is paramount; Therefore, the following guidelines are observed:
- Visitors must wear a face mask when entering the building and keep it on hold during their visit
- We ask them to check their temperature when they come in and if they are uncomfortable or their temperature is elevated we will ask them to come back when they are better
- We ask you to get hand disinfectant when entering the building
- We also ask them to keep a distance of 6 feet from other patrons
The activities of the family summer reading program will continue to be offered in a virtual environment.
Since August is Child Support Awareness Month, an Imperial County Child Support Service representative is available in the library to answer questions about child support on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The first personal program will be offered in conjunction with the Consulado de Mexico en Calexico on Tuesday, August 24th at 3pm.
Users can still request book packages and request library cards via email. Library Lunch Packages will continue to be available for collection at 1pm on Mondays
As personal schedules are limited, we will continue to provide roadside services even while the library is closed. Here is the schedule:
