NS. GEORGE, Utah – A child was critically injured after being attacked at a St. George motel Thursday.

The officers were called to Motel 6 at 205 North 1000 East at around 11 a.m. and were able to arrest an unknown suspect.
According to police, the child, who is around 10 years old, suffered several cuts on the neck, but is expected to survive.

The relationship between the child and the suspect is unknown. Police add that the incident was isolated and there is no danger to the public.
