Man arrested after stabbing exterior Richmond police station throughout little one custody alternate

A San Francisco man is behind bars after stabbing another man outside the Richmond Police Station during a custody swap, Richmond police said Thursday.

Gray Lonewalker Curtiss, 26, of San Francisco came to the Richmond Police Station to hand his daughter over to her mother around 6 p.m. on Sunday.

After the exchange was complete, the victim got out of the car to help the mother. The victim approached Curtiss, whereupon Curtiss stabbed the man several times.

Alarm officers heard the excitement and reacted immediately.

The victim was taken to a nearby trauma center with serious injuries. He is expected to survive.

Curtiss was arrested and charged with attempted murder, aggravated chaos and assault with a lethal weapon. Police say they found the knife that was used in the stabbing.
