Man sought on a number of youngster intercourse expenses now in custody

A man wanted on multiple child sex charges was taken into custody on Friday.

Sean Douglas Lawson, 28, was arrested in the 300 block of Eden Acres Lane in Eden after authorities received an anonymous tip through Central Alabama Crime Stoppers. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office and the Lincoln Police Department took the suspect into custody.

Lincoln police on Thursday announced Lawson is charged with two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, three counts of distribution of material harmful to a minor and possession of child pornography.

Lawson is alleged to have committed the offenses from October 2021 to November 2021 in Eastaboga.

He is now being held in the Talladega County Jail.

Lawson has previously been arrested on multiple drug charges in Jefferson, St. Clair and Blount counties.

Central Alabama Crime Stoppers Executive Director Tony Garrett said the tipster has been notified of the arrest and will be paid a reward through Crime Stoppers.
