The Midland Police Department are investigating the death of a six-month-old child.
On Wednesday May 18, police were dispatched to a home on the 2600 block of Abbott Road for a report of a child not breathing.
According to a press release from the department, the child was dead upon the officers’ arrival.
The Midland Police Department said they’ve identified the suspect as the child’s father, a 20-year-old from Midland.
The department said this is an ongoing investigation. The names of those involved, as well as the cause of death, will not be released.
The suspect is awaiting arrangement.
