Net assembly for Advisory Committee on Youngster Assist Pointers and Enforcement scheduled for Friday

The Alabama Advisory Committee on Child Support Guidelines and Enforcement is expected to host a web meeting on Friday, May 21, 2021 starting at 10:00 a.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no face-to-face meeting.

The Alabama Supreme Court appoints the members of the committee. The committee is tasked with reviewing child support guidelines and the timeline of basic child support obligations and making recommendations to the Supreme Court. At this meeting, the committee will further review and discuss the current guidelines and timeline used by the courts in this state to determine child support amounts.

Individuals wishing to submit written comments and suggestions to the committee regarding the guidelines and the schedule can do so by mail from the United States postmarked at the Alabama Supreme Court Clerk’s office no later than Thursday, May 13, 2021.
