Olivia Wilde wins youngster custody case vs Jason Sudeikis: Youngsters will stay in California

After Olivia Wilde revealed she was fighting for her kids’ custody against comedian Jason Sudeikis, a Federal Judge just ruled that the director is getting her wishes granted. They just stopped the motion requested by Sudeikis to keep both of their children in new York as their home, the place where they were born. Jason made this petition for the children to be moved in October, 2021 but it didn’t work.

In documents that the Daily Mail made public this week, Olivia Wilde was the one who gets to keep the children where ever she desires. In this case, the state of California is where the children will be at home with their mother. It is still unclear if Sudeikis will get a chance to visit them periodically or if he’ll have a chance to appeal the ruling.

Things got increasingly nasty between the two of them when the director was served with legal documents of the custody battle as she was attending CinemaCon on stage back in April. She reacted in negative fashion by stating this was premeditated by Sudeikis, claiming his actions are not a good example for their children. From a distance, this seemed like it was out of spite from Sudeikis due to Wilde’s infidelity with singer Harry Styles.

This is what the court ruled this week: “Both Judge Powell and this Referee agreed that New York was not the home state of the subject children; but rather California was the children’s home state. This court finds that New York does not have jurisdiction to hear the custody petitions as New York is not the home state of the subject children.”

What’s next for Sudeikis?

Now that he basically lost custody of his children, Jason Sudeikis will attempt to find a way to be closer to both of his children and keep a healthy relationship with savages. There were threats made by the director of possibly taking the children to London, where her love interest resides. However, Sudeikis would reportedly fight this with everything he has in order to keep his children in American soil.
