COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (KRDO) – A man is in custody for the sexual exploitation of children.
On April 23, the Colorado Department of Corrections Parole contacted the Colorado Springs Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force about a probation officer in possession of material relating to child sexual abuse.
Further evidence led to the issuance of an arrest warrant against David Earl Russel, 55.
According to police, Russell was already on probation at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center at the time of his arrest.
