Police say Ana Medina has been discovered protected, suspect in custody.
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Bryan police tell KBTX that a missing child has been found safe in Jim Hogg County near Laredo in south Texas.
Her stepfather, Pedro Aranda Jimenez, 36, is now in custody.
🔴DPS has released a photo of the suspect connected to the Amber Alert from Bryan. A source close to the case tells me this is the girl’s stepfather. They were last seen at a hospital in College Station. May be headed to Mexico.

The Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley says Medina and Jimenez were in a 2005 Dodge Durango and possibly headed to Mexico.
Ana was last seen around 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 16th at a hospital in College Station.
Bryan police have declined to release more details about the case citing an ongoing investigation.
