Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the celebrities who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in late July 2021, starting with this coupling… On July 28, People magazine broke the news that “Law & Order” alum Elisabeth Röhm is engaged for the second time in two years. Following a yearlong engagement to Judge Jonathan T. Colby, she’s now engaged to film producer and hotel developer Peter Glatzer. “We’ve been together for almost a year and look forward to celebrating our love and commitment to each other this winter,” said the actress, adding that they’ve been friends for several years now and currently live together. “We met through a very close mutual friend and had an instant connection and a beautiful strong bond. Thanks to COVID slowing us down, we had the opportunity to recognize and acknowledge that the friendship between us had become much more,” she explained. Chimed in her fiancé, who proposed during a quick trip to Santa Barbara, California, “The moment I met Lis four years ago, I felt so drawn to her. Since she was seeing someone at the time, I pursued a friendship. I’m so glad that I did. It’s a great basis for a marriage.”

On July 28, Chrishell Stause raised questions about the nature of her relationship with “Selling Sunset” co-star Jason Oppenheim — who co-founded The Oppenheim Group, the high-end real estate brokerage firm at the center of their hit Netflix reality show — when she took to Instagram to share a slideshow of photos from an Italian vacation with several of their castmates. (It appeared to be a couples trip with Mary Fitzgerald and her husband, Romain Bonnet, along with Jason’s twin brother and The Oppenheim Group co-founder Brett Oppenheim and his girlfriend, Tina Louise, who previously romanced Brian Austin Green and Diddy.) The slideshow included a shot of the former soap star kissing her boss on the head and a sweet shot of him nuzzling her neck. Brett and Tina signed off on the new couple in the comments section: “Love you Chrishell. Thank you for making my brother happy,” wrote Brett, while the Australian model commented, “Awwwww!!!! Congratulations you guys!! Finally IG official,” which indicated Chrishell and Jason have actually been an item for a while. Jason later confirmed the happy news to People magazine: “Chrishell and I became close friends and it has developed into an amazing relationship. I care about her deeply and we are very happy together,” he said.

People magazine reported on July 28 that — in spite of their increasingly public hangouts — Adele and rumored boyfriend Rich Paul are still keeping things casual. “It’s not super serious, but they’re having a good time,” said a source. “They have mutual friends in common, so that’s been nice. She’s having fun and being social.”

Issa Rae took to Instagram on July 26 to casually reveal that she and longtime love Louis Diame tied the knot. “A) Impromptu photo shoot in a custom @verawang dress. B) My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed. C) Then I took a few flicks with Somebody’s Husband,” she joked while captioning a slideshow of photos from her wedding day. The “Insecure” star and the business — who never official confirmed rumors they were engaged — exchanged vows at the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera over the weekend of July 24.

According to Brides magazine, which published an exclusive wedding photo, “Glee” alum Jenna Ushkowitz married David Stanley in an outdoor ceremony at the Lombardi House in Los Angeles on July 24. The duo — who got engaged in August 2020 — celebrated three years of coupledom in June 2021.

During an interview with Time magazine that debuted online on July 22, Tommy Dorfman came out as transgender. In the process, the “13 Reasons Why” alum revealed that she and husband Peter Zurkuhlen are no longer romantically involved. “The types of romantic partnerships I seek out are different [now],” she said. “I was in a nine-year relationship in which I was thought of as a more male-bodied person, with a gay man. I love him so much, but we’ve been learning that as a trans woman, what I’m interested in is not necessarily reflected in a gay man. So we’ve had incredible conversations to redefine our relationship as friends.” In the wake of the breakup, Tommy has sparked questions about the nature of her relationship with Lucas Hedges. She’s been seen looking cozy with the Oscar-nominated “Manchester by the Sea” actor several times in recent months, though it’s unclear if they’re dating or just touchy-feely friends. For example, the pair were pictured beaming while cuddled up together at the Cinespia screening of “Josie and the Pussycats” in Los Angeles on July 23.

HGTV star Ty Pennington took to Instagram on July 28 to announce that he’s engaged to girlfriend Kellee Merrell. “It’s the ‘yes’ for me,” the 56-year-old “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” alum captioned a photo of the 33-year-old social media manager’s ring-adorned hand. According to People magazine, the duo met in 2010 and took their relationship to the next level in 2020 when they decided to quarantine together amid the coronavirus pandemic. “I have admired Kellee from afar for years. She’s a beautiful person inside and out,” said Ty, who proposed over morning coffee on the dock at his home in Palm Coast, Florida. “Luckily our paths finally crossed at the right time. It’s one of those things where you just feel happy being around a person. I never thought I would get married, but she changed that. Glad I waited for the one.”

According to People magazine, which published an exclusive wedding photo, “Ginny & Georgia” star Brianne Howey married her boyfriend of five years, lawyer Matt Ziering, at a family home in Palos Verdes, California, on July 24. The duo originally intended to tie the knot in October 2020 but postponed their nuptials amid the coronavirus pandemic.

On July 27, Lindsie Chrisley took to Instagram to announce that she and Will Campbell are going their separate ways after nearly a decade of marriage. “While one door closes, another opens. It’s with the deepest sadness that, after 9 years of marriage, Will and I have mutually decided to end our marriage. We maintain the greatest respect and love for one another, and we’re so grateful for our time together. We will continue to remain friends and be devoted parents to our son whom we both love very much. Personally, I am focusing on the new beginnings ahead. … Thank you in advance for respecting our privacy as we work through this challenging time for our family,” she captioned a photo of herself and their son, Jackson. It’s not the first time Will and Lindsie, who’s estranged from her famous family, threw in the towel. Back in 2016, she filed for divorce. The following year, she briefly dated Bachelor Nation’s Robby Hayes. In 2019, her dad, “Chrisley Knows Best” star Todd Chrisley, publicly accused her of having “extramarital relationships” with Robby and another Bachelor Nation alum, Josh Murray — who said at the time that he and Lindsie were just friends.

On July 28, Cassie Randolph’s boyfriend, Brighton Reinhardt, finally made their long-rumored romance Instagram official: “Insert cheesy caption here,” he captioned a slideshow of three photos of himself and the former “The Bachelor” winner having fun together on the beach. Cassie — who weathered a super-painful mid-2020 split from Colton Underwood — co-signed Brighton’s post by sharing it on her Instagram Story with a simple heart emoji.

In other Bachelor Nation love news… According to Us Weekly, which published exclusive wedding photos, Bachelor Nation’s Ben Zorn — who competed for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s heart on season 11 of “The Bachelorette” in 2015 and then briefly appeared on season 4 of “Bachelor in Paradise” — married Stacy Santilena at the Triple S Ranch in Napa, California, on July 24. Fellow Bachelor Nation stars Derek Peth and Matt Donald were on hand for the nuptials. The happy couple got engaged in August 2019 after two years of dating and welcomed son Logan in February 2021.

“Days of Our Lives” star Carson Boatman married model Julana Dizon in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 23. According to People magazine, which published exclusive wedding photos, the bride and groom, who got engaged in July 2020, started dating in 2016 after their mutual trainer set them up.

The 63-year-old “Grease” alum, who’s been married five times before, proposed to 36-year-old Idaho native Kenna Nicole Smith in Las Vegas in February, though the engagement — which he first announced on Instagram — flew under the radar at the time. The duo met through his godmother in April 2020.

Clare Crawley and Dale Moss took to Instagram on July 28 to mark their first anniversary. “Happy ONE YEAR Anniversary love!!” the former star of “The Bachelorette” captioned a video montage featuring highlights from their relationship so far. The male model wrote in the comments section, “Love you with all my heart. Before we even met I knew god was working but never could have imagined what he had in store for us and there’s so much more ahead. My heart is with you always.” He also shared a photo of himself kissing his back-on fiancée, which he captioned, “It’s the moments that nobody sees that make life and our love so special. The most beautiful thing is that those are the moments only we will carry forever. When we first met I knew god’s hand was at work but I could have never imagined the journey he had in store for us. Love you with all my heart @clarecrawley. Happy ONE YEAR Anniversary Love!”

In other anniversary news… On July 25, Heather Rae Young took to Instagram to celebrate the first anniversary of the day her fiancé, Tarek El Moussa, proposed. “One year ago today I made the best decision of my life by saying yes to spending forever with the most special man. I remember when he proposed… in that moment everything melted away and I was just staring at my forever person, fully in tears thinking how lucky I was that I got to spend the rest of my life with him. Thank you to the man who has put a smile on my face every single day. You have shown me what true love and family are all about. I fall more and more in love with you as I watch how amazing of a dad you are with [your kids], how hard you work, and how you put family and your loved ones first in your life. You’re my best friend, my person, and my rock. Happy 1 year of being engaged baby! Cheers to a lifetime of You & Me,” she captioned a slideshow of photos from the day they got engaged.

They’ve yet to determine their division of assets aside from their Montana ranch: Brandon is currently covering all costs associated with the property.

Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin have finalized their divorce. Us Weekly broke the news on July 22 after getting ahold of the former couple’s divorce paperwork, which notes they’ll share joint custody of their two kids, who’ll spend 240 days of the year with the singer-actress and 125 days of the year with the former professional football player. “The Mother and Father will behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced,” the divorce docs state. “They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent. They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.” The “One Tree Hill” alum reportedly forked over a $592,400 settlement to cover her ex’s portion of their marital estate. She’s also on the hook for $3,200 a month in child support payments. Jana took to Instagram on July 22 to reflect on finalizing her divorce, captioning a photo of a marina, “Today has not been easy and I didn’t know if I would even say anything. If I’m honest, I had no idea how I would feel. Relieved? Sad? But I got the ‘final’ call that I’m officially divorced and the tears came. My first feeling was failure. That I failed my kids. That I was unlovable, not enough. I had moments of anger that I never wanted this for my reality, for my kids. Let’s just say it was all the feels but here’s what I know… I didn’t fail my kids. I’m showing them a strong momma and I’ll continue to do that and walk away knowing I did everything I could. This isn’t the end… it’s just the beginning of my story and I’m excited, hopeful, and ready to continue the healing so I can be stronger and love deeper.”

On the July 23 episode of “The Talk,” Amanda Kloots revealed that she’s started dating a year after losing second husband Nick Cordero to the coronavirus pandemic. (He died in July 2020 following a lengthy battle with COVID-19.) “I just started dating again, and it is so crazy to be dating for the first time at 39 years old,” she said. “It’s quite terrifying and really out of your element. And it’s just hard. It is hard.” Still, she called the experience “all wonderful.” Added the Broadway star, “It’s been a great process so far. But I’ll just say it’s very hard without getting into too many details.” Amanda met both Nick and her first husband, David Larsen, while they were working together on Broadway shows. “We became friends first, then we got married. … I’ve never actually had to date,” she explained.

The terms of their prenuptial agreement will be enforced, and neither is on the hook for spousal support payments to the other, though Falynn is walking away from the marriage with her wedding ring, a 2017 Jeep and a 2020 Bentley. She’s also restored her maiden name: Eady. Falynn took to her Instagram Story to celebrate the news, writing, “I am officially divorced! It’s a party! It’s a partyyy!!!”

On July 14, “Below Deck Mediterranean” alum Brooke Laughton took to Instagram to announce that she got engaged to her boyfriend of at least a year and a half, a Dutch man named Ingmar whose identity she’s otherwise kept under wraps. “I said YES to my soul mate. The first time we met I called him my future husband before I even knew his name (behind his back — that would just be creepy) and now the most romantic proposal on a hilltop overlooking the bay of Portofino. Just in time for my 30th Birthday today. Sooooo overwhelmed and in love,” she captioned a slideshow of photos including a shot of her new engagement bling.

Mick Jagger’s youngest child with supermodel Jerry Hall, Gabriel Jagger, married socialite Anouk Winzenried in London on July 17. The duo reportedly met in Mustique and announced their engagement in January 2020 but postponed their wedding plans twice amid the coronavirus pandemic.
