Reese Witherspoon opens up about not having sufficient ‘help’ after beginning of her first baby, Leisure Information
Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon recently spoke about the fights she and her then-husband had during a podcast show to greet their first child.
According to People magazine, during a recent episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, the 45-year-old actor spoke to Kristen Bell and Monica Padman about the hurdles they faced during their motherhood.
Witherspoon gave birth to Ava, now 21, in September 1999, about two months after she and her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe tied the knot.
In October 2003, the couple welcomed their now 17-year-old son Deacon before separating in 2003.
She explained, “I didn’t have a lot of support with my first baby and I learned very early that it wasn’t going to work.
Witherspoon noted that for the first few months she was a new mom to Ava, she “couldn’t have worked” and stated, “I was fortunate to have saved money and I didn’t have to work, but it just isn’t . ” a one-man job. “
The Big Little Lies star added, “In fact, I’d say it’s not a two-person job.”
Witherspoon, who is also the mother of 8-year-old son Tennessee James with husband Jim Toth, shared a sweet post on Instagram over the weekend how grateful she is for her two older children.
“Gosh, I’m happy to be your mother,” the proud mother captioned the adorable family snapshot. Witherspoon posed for the photo together and sat between their two children while the trio flashed a smile for the camera in front of them.
