San Francisco man charged with tried homicide throughout little one custody trade

RICHMOND, Calif. (KRON) – A San Francisco man is charged with attempted murder after stabbing a Richmond man multiple times, police said.

Richmond Police said the suspect, 26-year-old Gray Lonewalker Curtiss, was on a custody swap with the mother of his child in front of the police on Sunday night when the alleged violence occurred.

The 28-year-old victim was with the child’s mother. He was getting out of the car to help the mother with the child when an argument started and police said Curtiss attacked him with a knife.

Police officers were able to separate the suspect and the victim and had the victim taken to the hospital.

The homicide squad is investigating, but police said he was expected to survive.

Contra Costa district prosecutors charged Curtiss with attempted murder, worsening chaos and attack with a lethal weapon.
