While Shakira wants to go with them to Miami permanently, the Barcelona defender does not want the children to be taken out of his native Spain.
Now the Colombian singer has landed in California with her children to spend a few days of rest, while the footballer is in Miami where Barcelona are carrying out a tour of the United States.
This is a situation that could allow the pair to meet and try to resolve their differences regarding the custody of their two children.
According to the entertainment show ‘Chisme No Like’, Shakira left Spain with her children despite Pique’s opposition. The Colombian arrived in San Diego, California, where she is awaiting an ’emergency meeting’ with her ex-partner.
Shakira’s proposal
So far, the singer’s proposal to Pique is that she will live in Miami with the children and he will be able to stay in the same house, and that she would even be willing to cover the full maintenance of her two children and, in addition , “to pay for five first class tickets a year for Pique to visit them”.
For her part, Nidia Ripoll, mother of the Colombian, told the media that she would like to see a reconciliation between her daughter and the footballer.
