Police located the gray Scion 2008 early Thursday morning.

Police said Nichelle Omega was rushed to a nearby hospital for examination and was reunited with her imprisoned relative. Nyx Omega has been charged with police interference.

The Smyrna police initially issued an alarm for children at risk on Wednesday evening, but the TBI later issued the amber alarm on behalf of the SPD. That alert was triggered after officials replied Wednesday night at the Smyrna Public Library, where Omega was visiting Nichelle. Omega left the building with the infant, rushed to a nearby parking lot, and left the area, Smyrna officials said.
