Suspect in custody following homicide at Marietta Motel 6

Aug 13 – Marietta Police announced on Friday the arrest of a suspect in the Quinton Mosley murder, who was found shot dead Thursday morning in a Marietta motel.

Crystal Noemi Dominguez-Carvajal, 23, of Atlanta, was charged with murder and aggravated assault in Mosley’s death. Dominguez-Carvajal was arrested with the assistance of the Atlanta Police Department, according to Marietta Police Officer Chuck McPhilamy. McPhilamy credited “solid investigative work coupled with clues from the public” for the arrest.

Mosley, 38, of Marietta, was found shot dead outside room 503 of Motel 6 on I-75 and Delk Road around 8:00 a.m. Thursday by Marietta police officers responding to a report of a shooting.

Mosley, who was lying outdoors on the Wind Path, was admitted to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital but died of his injuries later that day.
