Since Season 7 of Southern Charm, it’s been all about hanging out with their two children and new boyfriend, Chleb Ravenell. Kensie and Saint often appear on their posts and Instagram stories. Bravo fans learned that Thomas doesn’t think Kathryn should be a full-time mom. He currently has full custody. Kathryn is allowed weekend visits during the day. However, 29-year-old Kathryn wants to take some big steps in hopes of regaining some form of parental rights. She recently hired litigator Susan Rawls Strom, who has 20 years of experience.

The latest hurdle for the mother of two is preventing Thomas from moving the children to Aiken, South Carolina. The next court hearing for the ex-couple is scheduled for October. The date is six weeks after the court has allowed the 59-year-olds to start school in Aiken. Charleston is two hours from Thomas’ new home, which makes it impossible for Kathryn to see her children on a daily basis.

In April, Thomas railed on Twitter (in now-deleted tweets), saying that the children would go to a foster family instead of living with Kathryn if he couldn’t look after them. @BravoSnarkSide picked up this tweet: “I was told in no uncertain terms that if something happened to me or false accusations were made against me that would force me into a desperate situation, I would not lose the children to Kathryn, but to DSS and go to foster families. “

Kathryn is done with the vague threats and will use all of Thomas’ social media posts as evidence. There is a lot to be done regarding court documents as both have accused each other of having substance abuse problems. Southern charm Season 8 is slated to film in September, with many viewers hoping to see an update on Kathryn’s fight for her children. Until then, Bravo fans can stay tuned by waiting for the trial.
