BOARD OF THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS from
GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
Tuesday, February 2, 2021
The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming, held a regular session in the Goshen County Courthouse in the Commissioners Chambers on the above date at 9:00 am. The following members were Chairman John Ellis, Vice Chairman Cody Cox, the Justin Burkart Commissioner, and Cindy Kenyon, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board. The meeting opened with a promise of loyalty. Commissioner Cox approved, supported and adopted the agenda and minutes of the last meeting.
The County Clerk Report was approved by County Clerk Cindy Kenyon. The clerk submitted her earnings report for $ 15,716.50. Commissioner Burkart approved, supported and adopted the results report. The clerk presented three employee bonds. Commissioner Burkart applied for the approval of the workers’ bonds, was seconded and passed. Commissioner Cox asked for the payment orders to be approved, was seconded and passed. Commissioner Cox accepted the employee’s report, which was seconded and passed.

Kelly Beard, director of public health, submitted a contract for approval. Commissioner Cox requested approval of the US $ 161,256.00 Memorandum of Understanding between the Wyoming Department of Health, Public Health and Goshen County for Covid19 Disease Monitoring and Testing, which was seconded and passed.
The Road and Bridge Report was approved by the Bob Taylor County Surveyor and Gary Childs County Planner. Mr. Taylor submitted the final Plat of the ATEC Addendum for approval. Commissioner Burkart requested approval of the ATEC Addition Final Plat, which was seconded and passed. Commissioner Burkart accepted the second road and bridge report and passed it.
Court Clerk Brandi Correa submitted her monthly earnings report of $ 1,781.00. Commissioner Cox accepted the clerk’s report, which was seconded and passed.
Mark Weis, Project Manager at City of Torrington, submitted a grant application for recreational equipment for playground equipment. The commissioners will investigate the project.
Fireman Bill Law presented his monthly report. Emergency manager Shelly Kirchhefer presented her report by email. Commissioner Burkart accepted the reports, supported them and adopted them
Kelly Beard, Director of Public Health, updated the Covid Vaccination Clinics Commission. The commissioners thanked Ms. Beard and her staff for all their efforts.
The commissioners opened the public hearing to consider requests to renew alcohol licenses. All license holders filed for renewal: Frontier Mart; Table mountain vineyards; Longbranch Steakhouse and Saloon; Emporium in Hawk Springs; the Bucking Horse Steakhouse; and Bear Creek Enterprises. Commissioner Cox requested approval of the submitted, seconded and approved Liquor Licenses for renewal.
The commission adjourned at 10.12 a.m. The next ordinary meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. The meeting takes place in person.
