three Folks In Custody After Man, Youngster Shot at Pryor Automotive Wash

Three people are on remand after a man and a boy were injured in a car wash in Pryor.

“It’s just crazy,” said Scott Gable, a manager at the Indian Smoke Shop next door. “It’s a crazy world we live in.”

Gable told News On that 6 workers stepped in to help after 20 and 69 shots were fired at around 1 p.m. at the Crystal Clean Car Wash near highways.

“After filming, they went outside and saw what was going on and saw the kids running from the scene, picked them up and took them to the store, locked the door and secured them,” Gable explained.

The police did not know how many people were involved in the shooting. As for the shooting, police said they believe it was a confrontation between people who knew each other and didn’t say who fired first or how many shots were fired.

The police arrested two men and one woman.

“We know all of the adult parties involved,” said Cpl. Justin Allen. “We’re not really at a point to release names at this point as we’re still very early in the investigation. Law enforcement agencies are familiar with the issues. You know your way around. You are acquaintances. ”

Rhonda Arfstrom told News On 6 that she is the mother of one of the men in custody. She said her son and the man who was shot have been fighting in person and online for weeks.

“The result has never been good,” said Arfstrom. “So I hope this result will be much better because I know my son and I know that he would never intentionally shoot a child.”

Police said the man and boy, who is 7 or 8 years old, were available when they were taken to the hospital. Police also said there are no other suspects being searched for.
