Tyrese‘s estranged wife filed for divorce more than 3 months prior to the announcement of their separation, claiming he changed locks on their home … something Tyrese denies.
Samantha Lee Gibson She filed for divorce papers back in September, and the petition claims Tyrese cut her financially a few weeks earlier and imprisoned her and her 2-year-old daughter. Soraya, from family home in Georgia.
Tyrese calls BS even though … in documents he filed, he denies leaving her out in the cold. On the other hand, he admits he has big problems with Samantha’s claim for $ 20,000 a month in child support. He calls this number “inappropriately high”.
What led to their breakup – Tyrese says when he flew home from a movie in late August, Samantha confronted him … and started a tense three hour conversation threatening to call the police.
Tyrese says he left the house in an Uber because he refused to participate in police interaction because of “multiple public incidents involving police brutality and racially motivated killings of unarmed African American people.”
