Youngster on the middle of Snoqualmie AMBER Alert discovered secure, mom in custody

Snoqualmie police said the mother, who was banned from seeing her child by court order, took the 3-year-old out of his father’s house.

SNOQUALMIE, Washington. – A 3-year-old boy allegedly taken from his mother has been found safe, according to Snoqualmie police.

An AMBER alarm was raised on the child on Sunday evening after his mother allegedly abducted him while he was in an apartment complex with his father.

The mother then jumped into a waiting vehicle with the child and sped away. The boy’s father shot a lap at the wheel of the speeding vehicle.

The mother has a court order prohibiting contact with the child and the father. A man who drove the getaway vehicle has brought criminal charges where he threatened to harm the mother and one of her children.

The mother was found around 10 p.m. and taken into custody.

It is not known if the male driver was with her.

Not a word about what charges, if any, she may face.
