Blotter: Harassment, PFA violation, terroristic threats, receiving stolen property

Bethel Township

Drug Possession – At 9:57 am on April 26, police arrested a 29-year-old Harrisburg man for drug possession. The incident occurred on I-78 West and Sugar Road and involved a GMC Yukon.

Vehicle Accident – At 11:23 pm May 3, a crash occurred on the 2200 block of South Pine Grove Street. A 2013 Ford Focus driven by a 28-year-old Lebanon man and a 2019 Nissan Sentra driven by a 40-year-old Lebanon woman, accompanied by a 34-year-old Lebanon man, were traveling south on South Pine Grove Street when the Nissan slowed for a deer in the road and the Ford rear-ended the Nissan. All individuals involved were wearing their seatbelts and no injuries were reported, according to police. The Nissan was towed from the scene. The Lebanon man was cited for the following too closely.

Cornwall Borough

Vehicle Accident – At 10:31 pm May 4, a crash occurred on SR 72 South. A vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man was traveling south on SR 72 when it traveled off the road and struck a road sign. The man was not injured. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Jonestown Borough

Vehicle Accident – At 6:19 am May 6, a crash occurred at the intersection of North Lancaster and East Market streets. A Ford F650 Super Crew driven by a 26-year-old Gaithersburg, Maryland man was traveling south on North Lancaster Street and a 2018 Ram Ram 1500 driven by a 29-year-old Jonestown man was traveling west on East Market Street. According to a report, the Ford failed to yield to the Ram after stopping at a stop sign. The Ram struck the Ford, causing disabling damage to the Ram. The Ram was towed. The Ford also sustained damage but was driven from the scene. Both men were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash and sustained no injuries. The Gaithersburg man was cited for stop signs and yield signs.

Millcreek Township

harassment – At 5:54 pm May 2, police responded to Memorial Boulevard for an inactive domestic. Police determined the arrestee, a 62-year-old Newmanstown man, grabbed the victim, a 59-year-old Newmanstown woman, during a verbal argument. Police cited the Newmanstown man with harassment. Police are investigating.

Myerstown Borough

Theft Bad Checks At 12:02 pm May 2, police responded to West Lincoln Avenue for a bad check for a balance that was not paid in full. The suspect owes Steve’s Transmissions. Police are investigating.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – At 6:22 am April 30, a crash occurred on East Main Street and Apple Blossom Lane. A vehicle driven by a 67-year-old Hummelstown woman failed to stop for a steady red light, then struck a vehicle driven by a 50-year-old Annville man while he was making a left turn onto Apple Blossom Lane. No injuries were reported, according to police. Both parties were able to drive their vehicles from the scene. Police cited the Hummelstown woman with a traffic signal violation.

PFA Violation – At 9:43 am April 16, police charged Lucion Snyder, 30, of Harrisburg, with a PFA violation after he sent a text message from the Dauphin County prison where he is an inmate to a woman who had a PFA against him.

Terrorist Threats – At 3:33 pm April 18, police charged Sharon Dawson, 49, of Tacoma, Washington, with terrorist threats after she sent text messages that threatened serious bodily injury to a former partner.

Traffic Violation, Warrants – At 11:14 pm May 2, police stopped Christopher Bradley, 47, of Harrisburg, for a traffic violation on the 1300 block of East Main Street. Police determined Bradley had outstanding bench warrants out of Lebanon and Dauphin counties. Police took Bradley into custody and transported him to Lebanon County Central Booking.

Confinement and Housing of Dogs – At 11:20 am May 2, a 51-year-old Steelton woman was cited with confinement and housing of dogs after a dog she was the caretaker of was running at large on the 1300 block of Queen Street.

retail theft On April 4, police charged JonPaul Avila, 35, of Myerstown, with two counts of retail theft after several incidents at Lowe’s Home Improvement where he took merchandise totaling approximately $1,500. Avila also had an active bench warrant from York County. Avila was arranged at Lebanon County Central Booking on $5,000 bail.

harassment – At 5:10 pm May 1, police responded to the 1300 block of Cambridge Court for a dispute involving a 36-year-old Lebanon man and a 14-year-old Palmyra female. It was reported that the Lebanon man pushed the juvenile down several times, once, causing her to strike the back of her head. Police cited the man with harassment. The citation was filed through MDJ Garver’s Office.

Palmyra Borough

warrant – At approximately 1:15 pm April 27, police contacted a suspicious person in the 00 block of West Cherry Street. Police identified the person as Bradley Lowe, 32, who had a warrant out of Dauphin County for owing over $5,000 in child support. Police arrested Lowe for the warrant and transported him to Dauphin County Prison.

False Identification to Law Enforcement, Drug Possession, Illegal Parking in Intersection – At approximately 1:50 am on Nov. 10, police observed a vehicle stop in the middle of a four-way intersection for several seconds before proceeding through. A traffic stop was initiated. When police asked the driver for his name, date of birth, and address, the man gave his brother’s information. Upon further investigation, police identified the driver as Harold Kramer Jr., 49. Methamphetamines, two plastic straws cut in half, and several syringes were located inside the vehicle and on Kramer’s person. On April 27, charges were filed against him at MDJ Garver’s office for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, false ID to law enforcement, and illegal parking in intersection.

DUI – At approximately 2:33 am on April 7, police initiated a traffic stop on a black Honda Accord in the 900 block of East Main Street. Police identified the driver of the vehicle as Christopher Michael Henry, 46. Henry was visibly intoxicated and showed signs of impairment. After field sobriety tests were conducted, police placed Henry under arrest for suspicion of DUI and transported him to the Good Samaritan Hospital for a legal blood draw. On April 28, a criminal complaint was filed with MDJ Garver’s office, charging Henry with one count each of DUI – incapable of safe driving (misdemeanor), DUI – high rate of alcohol (M), registration required (summary), and operation of vehicle without inspection (S).

Union Township

Receiving Stolen Property – At 10:52 am May 2, police responded to Love’s Truck Stop for a stolen vehicle/access device fraud. The victim was a 36-year-old Blackriver, New York, woman. Police arrested Andrew Barr, 25, of Watertown, New York, without issue. The stolen vehicle was a green 2006 Ford Freestyle.

West Cornwall Township

harassment – A 29-year-old woman was cited for an incident at 9:45 am on April 9.

Vehicle Accident – At 8:20 am May 6, a crash occurred at Main Street and SR 72. A Lebanon man was traveling east on Main Street when he was struck by a 78-year-old Lebanon man making a left turn from SR 72 South. No injuries were reported, according to police. Both vehicles were drivable.
