A WONDERFUL PROGRAM, CHRIS ALL RIGHT, TOM, THANK YOU FOR TAKING A LOOK OUTSIDE. A LITTLE BIT CLOUDIER, BUT IT’S KEEPING OUR TEMPERATURES NICE AND COOLER OUT THERE. OFFICIALLY, WE ONLY POPPED 91 TODAY. THAT’S THREE DEGREES ABOVE OUR AVERAGE OF 88, 75 IS THE MORNING START. THERE’S STILL A LITTLE BIT OF LEFTOVER RAIN, ESPECIALLY RUNNING THROUGH THE TREASURE COAST. WE HEAD INTO PALM BEACH COUNTY. WE GET TO GO UP TOWARDS JUPITER FARMS, BACK AROUND TEQUESTA TO GET A BIT OF LIGHT RAIN. THAT’S IT. AND IT’S JUST LIGHT RAIN. DRIZZLE AROUND FORT DRUM AND TOWARDS OKEECHOBEE COUNTY. THE HEAVIER STUFF UP TOWARDS ORLANDO. AND THEN YOU CAN SEE THAT SHOWER THAT WAS BLUE CYPRESS LAKE NO OR GETTING CLOSER TO FELLSMERE BUT IT IS LOSING A LITTLE BIT OF INTENSITY SO LIGHT TO MODERATE SHOWERS KIND OF A NUISANCE RAIN OUT THERE. SO TEMPERATURES ARE NICE IN THE UPPER SEVENTIES AND LOWER EIGHTIES. RAIN SHOWERS, THE FORECAST AS WE GO THROUGH THE NEXT FEW HOURS HERE ACROSS THE YEAR, WE ACTUALLY GET WEAK FRONT. YEAH, IT’S COOLER TO THE NORTH. TAKE A LOOK AT THIS. HIGH PRESSURE THAT IS DOMINATING A GOOD CHUNK OF THE SOUTH UP TOWARDS THE NORTH. ATLANTA WOKE UP TO TEMPERATURES IN THE FORTIES. OH, WE WISH THAT WAS COMING. IT’S NOT JUST JET. WE WILL WITH THIS WEEK FRONT THAT IS UP JUST AROUND OUR AREA AND IT’S GOING TO WHAT IT DOES THIS TIME OF YEAR. THE STORM RIGHT ON TOP OF US BUT IT’S GOING TO SPARK A FEW MORE SHOWERS AND STORMS BEFORE WATCHES OUT COMPLETELY. TAKING A LOOK AT THE TROPICS. AGAIN, EVERYTHING FOR THE MOST PART. WE HAD A COUPLE OF WAVES LAST WEEK. WE’RE WATCHING. THOSE ARE NONEXISTENT BUT WE ZOOM IN TO NEWLY FORMED TROPICAL SEVEN LIKELY TO BE FIONA OVER NEXT FEW DAYS. LATEST ADVISORY WINDS AT 35 MILES PER HOUR, MOVING TO THE WEST ABOUT 13. SO AT A PRETTY DECENT. WE’LL CONTINUE TO PRESS MOVE CLOSER TOWARDS THE ANTILLES AS WE GET INTO THE WEEKEND. THERE’S SATURDAY AND THEN SUNDAY INTO MONDAY MOVES RIGHT OVER PUERTO RICO, HISPANIOLA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, AND THEN STARTS TO CURVE TO THE NORTH AGAIN. WE’LL WATCH THIS TRACK VERY CLOSELY, BUT THE SYSTEM IS TO BE SUPER WEAK, JUST A MINIMAL TROPICAL STORM OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. AND OF COURSE, IT WILL BE MOVING OVER LAND. SO WHAT IS THE MODEL SAYING WE’LL TAKE A LOOK AT THIS. THIS IS THE BLOB THAT WE’LL WATCH AND YOU CAN SEE THE LATEST RUN DOES TAKE IT OVER PUERTO RICO AND THE HISPANIOLA AREA AND THEN EVENTUALLY TURNS IT AND IT TO THE NORTH AND THEN GETS CLOSER TO THE EASTERN SEABOARD. BY SATURDAY, THE 24TH. SO RIGHT NOW, AS WE SEE IT, THE MAIN MODELS ARE SHOWING THIS WON’T HAVE A BIG IMPACT ON US HERE IN SOUTH FLORIDA, BUT SOMETHING WE’RE DEFINITELY GOING TO KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON AS WE’RE NOW HAVE APPROACHED AND PASSED THE PEAK OF HURRICANE SEASON. SO THAT FRONT JUST GOING TO STALL THE AREA. THAT MEANS MORE SHOWERS AND STORMS CREEP BACK IN AS WE HEAD THROUGH BOTH THURSDAY AND AGAIN ON FRIDAY AND THEN FINALLY BY SATURDAY, THE FRONT’S GOING TO WASH OUT, RETURN TO NORMAL AND BACK TO THOSE AVERAGE RAIN SHOWERS AT ABOUT 30%. BOATING FORECAST LOOKS GOOD OUTSIDE OF THE SHOWERS AND STORMS TO DO IT. EARLY SEASON RUNNING ABOUT 2 TO 3 FEET TOMORROW. WE GOT 2 TO 3 FOOT SEAS OUT THERE. LIGHT UP ON THE INLAND WATERWAYS WITH A SOUTHERLY BREEZE AND 5 TO 10. HERE’S A LOOK AT SOUTH FLORIDA CERTIFIED MOST ACCURATE FORECAST. HIGH RAIN CHANCES BOTH THURSDAY, FRIDAY. WE NEED THE RAIN BUT HEY TOMORROW COULD BE JUST IN THE UPPER EIGHTIES. REMEMBER WE CONTINUE THAT STREAK OF 90 DEGREE PLUS WEATHER TODAY. TOMORROW’S THE FIRST DAY THAT WE’RE FORECASTING 89. WE’LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS. BUT THEN AS WE TAKE YOU TO THE WEEKEND A LITTLE BIT DRIER
